Adoption Application

Adopt a Friend

The adoption process will include a vet reference as well as a home visit. Our adoption fee is determined on an individual basis. The fees do not always cover the costs of the upkeep of our rescues. In addition to transportation expenses to our rescues' foster homes, we completely vet them, which includes, an exam by our vet, blood work done, all vaccinations, heart worm tested, fecal test, and a dental is done if needed. We do not provide transportation to our adopters.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL POTENTIAL ADOPTERS

When applications come in without a dogs name, they are placed in a holding file. This is so families can have an application on file while they are waiting for a particular pup. In this situation you will not hear from us until there is a qualified match. If an application comes in with a dogs name, the reference checks are verified and the application is sent to the foster parent.

We do not start working any applications until the dog are available for adoption. We don't accept applications before that time. We understand and can appreciate the excitement of wanting to hear from the rescue,  but please keep in mind we all hold full-time jobs and rescue is typically done on our off days and weekends.

We generally have dozens of applications and will be review them when possible and weekends, looking for the best fit. We will let you know as soon as we have found the best match. We are typically looking through applications to find what the foster parent is looking for. Once that is found, we complete all reference checks and anyone approve gets forwarded to the foster family for the family to phone the approved applicant.
